WOE Pouch Review.

In for review like the title states is a leather pouch offered up by WOE. This review was made possible by our good friend @Timely_moments (I wasn’t about to drop$180 on one). I really don’t use them often and I’m anti hype anything so this was not a move I was looking to make.

The design is a solid one(not a fan of snaps, buttons, velro). Its simple and easy to use. The fold over top slides through a “keeper” (if you will) on the front. WOE has used some different flavors of camo on these with a German one on run right now. VERY NICE(In my best BORAT voice)

Once you open this little guy up you’ll find a leather block to hold your watch with the spade. The block is nice and thick made from a good leather. The stitching and stamp look great very clean.

The pouch itself is made from a different leather(its a bit thinner). It holds its shape well. Stitching is nice and uniform through out. I’m picky when it comes to accessories. Often times companies are lazy and the stitching will be 80-90%(logos and sew on pieces not uniform). This thing is straight. Very good work from Leather Works MN who has been slinging the leather goods for 25 years.

Now to the inside(where the magic happens). I think this is the Achilles heel of this pouch. It leaves much to be desired. Its very rough(like sand paper). Not ideal for a surface that will be in contact with your watch and clasp(There is no “lining” inside). It may be something that gets softer over a long period of use. And if this is the case let me know.

-SCORE-

I’m giving this thing a solid 6/10 for a final score. I like the design and color combo of leather against camo. Very Americana vibes. Worth a try if your into leather products(or accessories in general).
